Dear Parents and Families,

I am thrilled to welcome you and your children to a new school year at Washington Community School. My name is Natasha M. De Jesus-Boston, and I am honored to be your new principal. I am excited about the opportunity to serve this wonderful community and work alongside dedicated teachers and staff to provide the best educational experience for your children.

As we begin this school year, our focus will be on creating a safe and nurturing environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We believe that collaboration between home and school is essential for student success, and we encourage you to stay engaged and involved in your child's education.

We will host various events and activities throughout the year to foster a strong school community. We look forward to seeing you at these events and working together to support our students' growth and development.

1. Important Dates:

● Ice Cream Social: August 28, 2024

● First Day of School: September 5, 2024

● Back-to-School Night: September 24, 2024

2. School Uniform: We want to remind you of our school uniform policy to ensure all students are dressed appropriately for school. The uniform includes:

● Tops: Black, white, or yellow polos.

● Bottoms: Black or khaki pants, skirts, or jumper.
